As an important part of power system, high-voltage switchgear is responsible for power transmission and distribution, operation mode transformation, fault isolation and other functions, and its reliable operation is of great significance to the safety and stability of power grid. This paper analyzes the main problems existing in the current high voltage switchgear. Introducing the concept of switchgear health management, starting from all stages of switchgear life cycle, strengthening equipment quality and maintenance management, and improving the health level of high-voltage switchgear; In view of the shortcomings of the application of high voltage switchgear state prediction technology, the relevant countermeasures are put forward.
